Greetings of the day!
It gives me immense pleasure to have the honor of this correspondence.
Things change, when we choose to change them. Waiting for things to happen would not beget any change. And We would like to present you an opportunity to be a part of a radical change that would bring a new lease of life to many who are yet not aware that they are headed down the wrong corridor unknowingly, unsuspectingly.
NCI-India has been envisaged by the Government of India as an Institute of National importance which will look after cancer research and formulation of modern therapy for cancer patients in India. This state of the art translational cancer research centre will have more than 700 beds and more than 3000 employees working in a campus of 50 acres. The NCI will start functioning in September, 2018. We have started collaboration with national and international institutes of excellence for promoting translational and clinical research in different India centric cancers. We have also started educational series on updates in management of different cancers as an initiative of NCI, India.
After successful completion of Updates in management of Breast Cancer, Gynecological Cancer, Head & Neck Cancer, Gall Bladder Cancer and Lung Cancer, We are organising "Best of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) as a part of NCI, India educational series on 28th-29th July 2018 at Hotel Ashoka, Delhi, presented by Indian Society of Clinical Oncology.
Best of ASCO in Delhi, India will be organised in partnership with Institutions/ Hospitals delivering cancer care in Delhi/NCR. This will be an unique opportunity to learn from best of research presented in Annual Conference of American Society of Clinical Oncology. We will try to discuss more on topic important for India centric cancers and there will be a Merit Award for abstracts from South Asia presented in annual conference of ASCO. We have got confirmation from oncologists working in South Asian Countries and this will help us to discuss more about common cancer issues and close collaborations to deal with such problems.
Kindly send us confirmation with contact details. This is a small request from organizing team to kindly encourage student and faculty members to kindly register and participate in the Conference. As you are well aware that there is a quiz for delegates on conference topic and questions will be asked based on conference proceedings.
Hope you and your team will have a great time in upcoming conference. I believe that this will give them a great opportunity to refresh their knowledge with latest updates. This will be of great importance for participants to collaborate with NCI-India, AIIMS,Delhi and other partner institutions/Hospitals in their future endeavor. We strongly believe that your guidance and support will not only lend a powerful expression, but would also amplify the awareness to screen, detect and cure (SDC), at early stages and save millions of lives across the geography of India.
